Sisahaniya Kot  

It is 10 km south east of Taulihawa and 6 km south of Dohani. Its area is 700 sq. feet. There is a well belonging to MauryaShu-Kushan era. Numbers of Puneh Marked coins belonging to Kushan and Gupta era and pottery are evaluated from here. According to Dr. Ram Niwas Pandey, this palce is Shovabati (birth place of Kanak Muni Buddha). Other scholars believe that this place must be an ancient Buddha Bihar (Park) and ancient fort.
       Kapilvastu is a subject of research and attraction for tourists. A lot of work is to be done for the upliftiment  of this place. Making of documentary, celebration of festivals, initiation, of both short term and long term master places, management of guides,  inclusion in school college curriculum its representation in Tourism Development Board Fund entry in internet and advertisement are some of the major steps yet to be taken for its development and promotion as a tourist and historical centre. District Development Committee is diligent to carry out its programme as far as its recourses  meet for the development and promotion of the district
